John Paul Construction

The Brief:   We were awarded this substantial contract to provide an extensive hoarding package to John Paul Construction as they undertook massive redevelopment works in North West London.

Using a Hiab lorry we began by dismantling the existing concrete block supported hoarding on site, making good and then decorating the panels to the high standard required. Again using the Hiab lorry we installed the newly decorated hoarding panels to create a site perimeter to contain the building works. Included in the brief were scaffold tower hoardings, vehicle and pedestrian access gates, crane hoarding, and decoration of all hoardings to maintain the professional appearance of the site.

Skanska Construction UK Ltd

The Brief:   Skanska were awarded the contract with Network Rail Infrastructure for the construction of the Bermondsey Dive-Under and associated structure strengthening works, which form part of a £60 million Thameslink Development Programme.  The Bermondsey Dive-Under will be formed of 11 new interconnected structures and is hoped to be completed by 2017.

Panthera Security have provided our full Analytical CCTV Package for the duration of the works, which includes over 20 fully monitored cameras, a multi speaker PA system, and manned response units.

Vinci Construction UK

The Brief:   Vinci Construction UK won the contract for the redevelopment of this 8 storey office building which was to be carried out to a very high specification. This was a huge project and we at Panthera were thrilled to be awarded a multi-service contract for the enabling works.

Our M & E division were tasked with providing a comprehensive temporary electrics package, providing power to the entire site. They also undertook the servicing of all fire extinguishers and installed a full fire evacuation system which included heat detectors and hard-wired break glass units.
Our Hoarding division used a HIAB lorry to install our concrete filled barrel hoarding system to create a site perimeter. A scaffold tube is concreted into each barrel to form a framework to fix and support the plywood hoarding. We also provided vehicle access gates and a single access personnel door with a digital lock.
Finally our Security division installed a Radio Alarm System to the scaffold to prevent unauthorised access.

Stonewest Ltd

The Brief: Restoration specialists Stonewest appointed Panthera Group to provide our hoarding package to assist them in the cleaning and reparation of the Palace of Westminster which has been standing since the 1800’s.

Scaffold towers were used and our hoarding was fixed to them. We also provided double access doors and all hoarding included skirting and capping which was finished with a quality paint job to retain the professional appearance of the site. Included in the brief were protection boxes for the roof lights and perspex sheets to protect the glass windows. The majority of the works were conducted outside normal working hours and during Parliamentary recesses to minimise disruption.

Toureen Mangan

The Brief:   We were awarded this multi-service contract by Toureen Mangan who were appointed to carry out the demolition phase of this prestigious tender. From the outset Panthera were involved in the enabling works, we provided temporary offices and site welfare cabins including all temporary utilities to the units.

We provided our concrete barrel supported hoarding to the perimeter of the works compound, including double gates for vehicular access, single doors for pedestrian personnel access and an emergency fire exit door. All our hoarding was painted to retain a professional look and bulkhead lights were fitted for safety. Finally we provided a full height turnstile with a biometric access control system using a palm reader, so that access to the site could be regulated.

McLaren Construction

The Brief:   This substantial contract included instructions to design and install over 600m of both in-ground and self-supported hoarding.

The project began with our team installing 1000m of temporary security fencing to the site perimeter to secure the works area before our main hoarding works could commence. Also within the brief was the installation of multiple vehicle gates, access doors for site personnel and a full decoration service to maintain McLaren’s high profile corporate image.

McLaren Construction

The Brief:   Main Contractor, McLaren Construction began a significant project to create a multi-screen cinema by demolishing part of the existing building and making extensions where necessary.

As part of our brief we provided a designed and calculated hoarding package which was created by using our concrete barrel supported hoarding system, steel fabricated vehicle access gates and decoration of all hoarding to McLaren’s high professional standard.

Alandale Logistics

The Brief:   Panthera Group was delighted to be involved in the preparations of the 2012 London Olympics. One of the largest projects was the building of the Media Centre which housed the International Broadcasting Centre and the Main Press Centre (IBC/MPC). The building included creation of a catering village to serve over 20,000 broadcasters and journalists.

Measuring over 900,000 square feet and containing a multi-storey car park, it was necessary for our team to relocate vehicle and personnel gates around the compound as certain areas were completed. We provided literally miles of concrete block supported chain-link fencing to form boundaries and walkways through the site. Some areas required installation of our concrete block supported plywood hoarding, which was decorated in keeping with the Olympic Village.
Also included in this project were instructions to install a high specification office partitioning system with glazing and oak doors.
